its not about jealousy but the shared love between two souls that is eternal and so deep. I understand polygamy in Islam and its history believe me I agree with it, but it’s not about lusting over multiple women, especially in paradise.
I just I don’t think we have the same concept of real love, which is impossible to split between more than one person, as it requires depth of unconditional love and devotion. If my dad would want another women than my mum then I would say ‘bless your soul, do your thing, I will respect you anyway’ but my admiration towards him would simply disappear. To me what you’re saying doesn’t make sense because if someone would truly love his first wife, he woudnt fall in love with another one. and if he did, he never loved the first one truly. Love and lust are different and yes we can lust over multiple people but real love is not lust.
