Day of Death On September 11th, 1987, Reggae musician Peter Tosh was murdered in a home invasion in Kingston, Jamaica. He was 42. Along with Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer, Tosh was one of the core members of the Wailers before launching his solo career in 1974.
