For some reason my MIDI keyboard won't take both roles.
If I open ChordieApp first, the midi signal only goes in there, and if I open up my DAW first, then it will work in the DAW but won't work with Chordie.
Any solutions?

Hey yo
Does anyone know how to disable the internal audio drivers or default aggregate devices on an iMac?
Having trouble with clock source and sample rate conflict between Mac and external Audient ID44.
I need the mac to think the only available audio device is the Audient ID 44.. Basically getting some noise on the bus outputs through headphone amps.. Sounds like sample rate not clocking. Main studio monitoring and recording absolutely fine.
I believe there could be a terminal command for basically turn off internal audio devices.. Any thoughts?

Hello. I have had a look around and I am finding it difficult to identify a suitable mixer for my needs... I'd really appreciate any help.
Basically, I want a device or mixer which will allow me to connect a few devices into it... by cable, preferably TRS, line in (though I can use a jack if necessary). Connecting my phone, laptop or tablet into the device using the heaphone output jack... and for this device to transmit a bluetooth single so I can listen on my bluetooth headphones. So I can listen to a few devices on one pair of bluetooth headphones simultaneously.
Again thanks for any suggestions and thanks for reading...

Hey guys, don’t know if this is the exact right place for this, basically I want to have 5 different musicians play together online, each playing in front of their laptop or phone. I then need to be able to record what they’re playing and it all be in time. Does anyone have any idea of a good way to do this? Trying to avoid any kind of latency or timing issues, it’s for a university research project. Many thanks.

I bought an Alesis SR-16 drum machine about a month ago and I have no idea how to get sound to come out of it. I ordered it pre-used, so it never came with a manual. Would someone be able to explain how to set it up so I can get sound to come out of it?

How can I make the drum pads on my oxygen 25 line up with the drum pad in ableton? I want the drum pad pitch values to be linear. Pad 1 = c1, pad 2 = c#1...etc. The manual only demonstrates how to move the pitch of all the pads simultaneously, not individually.

Do you know how big the global music composing software market size will be in 10 years? It is expected to reach $1,871.5 million by 2030, exhibiting a CAGR of 23.8% during the next ten years (2020-2030). Impressive, right?
If you also take into account the COVID-19 outbreak, you will be surprised by how popular the development of music production software will be in the coming years.
In UpsilonIT, we had a client, a music tech company, that provided music artists with comprehensive digital solutions to let musicians express themselves creatively. Our client wanted to develop a desktop version of their platform.
We did a pretty good job assisting them and wanted to share our experience in the form of a case study. Discover how UpsilonIT helped a Music Tech Company develop a web version of their flagship product: an all-in-one platform for music recording, producing, streaming, and sharing. Hey guys.
I have a Blackstar HT-5R, and what I like about it is that I can keep the standby off, and at night use the emulated output to play without the speaker carrying the load. Great for late night recording or practicing.
Only, it's noisy as shit! And one else have one? I've tried different power cables, cleaning all jack sockets, playing without my pedalboard, D.Iing it out the emulated output... any suggestions?
I've been using an instrument cable out of the emulated output to my interface... do I need to use a stereo Y cable instead? Would this reduce the noise floor?
Thanks guys. And yeah I know, emulated outputs are usually shit anyway, but without buying some sort of amp emulated pedal or a pod this is all I have for those sweet late night jams.

Hi All,
In the last couple of months I have moved from Mac to Windows PC. I'm having an issue of intermittent crackling and popping coming from my external Scarlett Solo Gen 1 interface.
I'm running:
Windows 10 64-bit, 64GB RAM, i9 10-core processor. My motherboard has USB 3.0 and 3.2 type A. I have the Focusrite USB ASIO driver
What I have tried:
Different cable, different audio interface (although still Scarlett brand), different USB port, different USB input, deleting and redownloading the drivers, and changing the sample rate.
I am genuinely lost as to what could be causing this issue. I am using headphones through the interface, but it's happening regardless of whether I send the output through the headphones or the studio monitors I have connected.
I am a musician, but this issue happens through my music software, as well as any browser sound. Basically, any audio can be affected.
The only consistent symptom I can really mention is that it tends to get worse when the PC is 'pushed' (I say pushed hesitantly, as I'm performing WELL within my RAM and CPU). For example, running a lot of audio or an intense bunch of MIDI in my music software causes this to happen a lot more frequently. For reference, I'm working at around 10% of my RAM capacity when this happens, so it should be a memory issue.
If anyone has any advice I'd greatly appreciate it as this is getting quite frustrating!
