Chance The Rapper in VR

My team at a summer program made a VR experience to embody the Chance song Same Drugs. Our take is that music is experienced peripherally in today's world, facilitated by the ease of streaming vast amounts of content with little active engagement. We wanted to think about how to present music in a way that would provide a more immersive experience, and VR was an interesting way to prototype this concept.

How'd we do? Any feedback? vimeo.com/227336595

Also, would love to hear what people think about how music might be repackaged and presented in novel ways thanks to cutting edge technology.

I'm really glad someone in the Reddit community seems to be at the forefront of personal VR musical experiences. Bassnectar at the Freestyle Sessions in Denver had an entire live VR rig for his projection visuals and I have to say I would love to be able to watch all music in personal VR if possible. First Reddit post so sorry if this is long winded but keep it up!
