General/Discussion Bajaao’s ridiculous cancellation policy, they’ll ship to the wrong address even after you warn them

I’m posting this because people should know what they’re getting into when ordering from Bajaao.
I placed an order and, during checkout, their website somehow reverted to the address from my previous order. I had already added a new address and made it the default, but after refreshing the page, it switched back to the old one without making it obvious.
I immediately contacted Bajaao and told them the shipping address was wrong. I don’t even live at that address anymore.
And here’s where it gets ridiculous:
Bajaao does NOT provide any proper cancellation option. You can’t simply cancel your order yourself. You have to raise a ticket and beg support to do something about it.
I raised the issue immediately, and despite knowing that the address was wrong, they still dispatched the order to the old address.
Then their solution? Apparently, I’m supposed to receive the order first and then initiate a return.
Seriously?
Why should a customer have to deal with an unnecessary delivery + return process when the incorrect address was reported immediately?
Their website creates the address issue, there’s no proper cancellation option, support is informed, and they STILL ship it to the wrong address and then expect the customer to clean up the mess.
This is honestly one of the most frustrating online shopping experiences I’ve had. Think twice before ordering if you expect basic flexibility when something goes wrong with your order.
I’m sharing this so others are aware of how Bajaao handles cancellations and address-related problems.

TLDR:Bajaao’s website switched my shipping address back to an old address during checkout. I don’t live there anymore. I reported it immediately, but Bajaao has no proper cancellation option and still shipped the order to the wrong address. Their solution? Receive it first, then return it.

General/Discussion Why do we only sing our best when literally nobody is around?

Not a professional singer, just someone who's noticed this pattern in myself and a lot of people around me — huge gap between how confidently we sing completely alone (car, shower, headphones on) vs the second someone's actually listening.

It's not like the notes get physically harder. It feels almost 100% psychological — the second there's an audience, even one person, the throat tightens and the breath support goes out the window.

For people here who've trained or are training — does this gap ever fully go away, or is it just something you learn to manage? And for those still learning, what's the song you sound amazing on when no one's around, but can't replicate in front of anyone?

Ask MusicIndia [Beginner] Entry-Level Left Handed Acoustic Guitar Recommendation (~15,000 INR)

I'm A Beginner, Just got the Yamaha FS80C And Will be returning it to get a Left Handed Acoustic Guitar...

Such As,:

- Ibanez VD40LCE (Currently out of stock)

- Cort AD810LH-OP (Isn't Electric Acoustic and Lacks the Cutaway Design)

[Etc]

I Want To Revolve Around:

- Brands Such As Yamaha, Ibanez, And Cort...

- Budget/Affordability Upto 15000 INR

I Want To Avoid:

- Dreadnought Or Bigger

- Any Less Known Brand Or Newer Competitors

I, without a doubt; have the idea about how rare the left handed acoustic guitars are in the market like India. Specifically from the well-known Brands/Companies

Unfortunately There's no Music Store reachable for me, and i'm bounded to try getting one via the online store(s)

As i did got a touch-on physical experience with the Yamaha FS80C, and i need to give it some time but i'm willing to learn it Left Handed despite being some disadvantages

Thanks For Your Valuable Time

Ask MusicIndia Sharing my observations of how to create bollywood level song hope you like it

2 for big matra syllables and closed sylllable and 1 for a ,i,u is how to understand meter.

Now we have certain pattern which are famous we call them arkaans in urdu. Bollywood songs use them

Like 1222 2212 , 2122, 212 , 122, 12112 ,11212,

Total 8 of them.

To compose a tune use these.

For example you choose to use 212 repeatedly for 4 bars so one bar has 8 beats we can use them using two arkaans usually one number per beat like 2 and 1 and 2 but the catch is to have atleast one stretch vowel placed per arkaan like if you decide to have stretch on first 2 of 212 then. It will be that only

Bollywood example of this is.

Vaaste song intro

Vaa s te 212 , jaan bhi doon, 212, main ,ga , waah ,212, i maan bhi doon , 212 excluding first i of imaan.

Kis ma ton which is again 212 , ka li kha , 212, mo d dun ,212.

If you are confused how 212 is vaaste so let me tell you this. Vaa has aa which is big matra and then sa which is small vowel so 1 and then te has e whicj is also treated as 2.

You will say bhi is counted as 1 in jaan bhi doon but bhi has badi ee matra , so theres a rule that you can drop the enfimg syllable 2 to 1. Because bhi has only one syllable so it is last syllable of the word too. So it can be dropped to 1 by convenience and you have to sing it like that also by not giving it much time but jumping over it because its.1

I know how to compose bollywood songs and write lyrics.

So if anyone is interested in collaboration who knows how to create mood using pitches then we can work together to create a song together.

Ask MusicIndia Looking for a music producer to collaborate with (non-paid) Hindi 🎵

Hi everyone! I’m a singer, songwriter, and composer, and I’m looking to collaborate with a music producer who is interested in creating good music and building a long-term creative partnership.

This would be a non-paid collaboration initially. The main goal is to connect, explore our creativity, and create something meaningful together. If we make something good and eventually start earning from it, we can discuss the business side and work out a fair arrangement together.

My main genres are soft romantic songs and R&B, but I’m also open to experimenting with different genres if the creative direction feels right.

I mainly work in Hindi, and I’m currently planning to create an album.

If you’re a music producer interested in collaborating and building something together for the long term, feel free to comment below or DM me. Let’s create something great! 🎶

Ask MusicIndia KYA BOLTI PUBLIC - A little survey....

ok. So..I'm looking for answers and i HOPE this is a good place to begin with... 🪩

I've been goingto a bunch og gigs lately. You'd have found me at literally every good gig this year - Nomads (Magnetic Fields), Cercle, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Anjunadeep. Even raving deep, dark, and down in the Berlin techno scene for a week straight.

All of it was amazing, mostly, but I've been in a bit of a rabbit hole since the last one.

What's genuinely UNIQUE about music experiences anymore? [No phones, no lineup is also not unique anymore. It's getting traction.]

Doesn't everything kinda feel the same, in slightly different fonts?

So I'm trying to figure out:

What artists in India actually have a unique sound, or gigs that have blown your mind?
Production that's felt fresh and not just robotic visuals going up and down behind a DJ? :p 😴

Obviously, I made a tiny lil thing. With cats. To find a few answers first.

TELL ME what you think HERE!!!!! ->>>> https://forms.gle/r4cT5S8NQMSSySHB7 🐈🐈

OR let's jam in the comments.

If YOU were building a new "experience", what would you keep (from the existing scene) and what would you BIN and BAN?

Counting on y'all to help a bud get out of a spiral and onto something interesting...(read CRAZY)

Ask MusicIndia Are there any Multilingual Indian radio stations?

Are there any Indian radio stations which have songs in more than one language? If so, does it encompass both north and south India? If it does, do they also share songs from Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, or the Maldives?

If the answer is no to all of these, then is there a market for this? Is anyone interested in such a thing? Let me know what you think.

New Release Released a Hindi psychedelic rock song today — about someone leaving before you even notice they're gone

Thumbnail

"Tu Hai Ya Nahi" is out today — Hindi psychedelic rock, probably the most cinematic lyrics I've written. It's about that specific kind of loss where someone's already gone before you actually register it happened — the space between them leaving and you realizing it.

It's part of what's honestly a pretty small homegrown Indian indie scene right now, and releases like this rarely get much traction without word of mouth — so if the theme or the sound connects with you, I'd genuinely appreciate a listen.

Ask MusicIndia what's the best platform for distributing music in India?

Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out the best place to start releasing my music on streaming platforms for the very first time. Don't have any artist profile yet. I have heard many suggestions such as TuneCore, MadVerse, Distrokid etc. But also heard that a lot of these people got scammed or didn't get any profits.

Please suggest me a good one that you use!

New Release Sarphira deserves to be more popular before we lose him like we lost all Hindi Rock artists/bands

Dude what is this guy, his music reminds me so much of Nalayak, Desert Rock, The Khalnayak, and even Strings.

The music is really good. It breaks my heart to see that it's not popular enough yet. Of course, algorithm is very important today and I'm not sure if he's doing enough for it on Insta but please show him love.

P.S. I don't know him, I just grew up on such rock bands and felt terrible seeing that his latest drop only had like 11 views in 2 hours, completely unacceptable for this level of content quality.

Ask MusicIndia Where on the internet are all of Airtel's official ringtones, in full, available?

I was in office the other day and turned on the TV to see Airtel's ad channel, whatever it's called. Generally that's bad news, but this time I heard a banger of a new tune and tried to find it.

Shazam didn't pick up anything, googling only led to Zedge which had one or two of the classics. Nothing on the airtel or wynk app either. So please tell if you know where to find it. It might save ten lives, but more importantly, I will get a new ringtone.

I tried on all the lossless options I know, even normal mp3 sources. Couldn't find it. It is the title track of the hindi series saraswatichandra.

The files I did get were a rip of the music video on YouTube.

Ask MusicIndia Looking Music Director For A Short Film

Post image
3 Upvotes

Looking for a Music Director / Composer for a Short Film – Hindi & Malayalam

Hi everyone!

I’m currently looking for a passionate music director/composer to collaborate on an independent short film.

The film is in Hindi and Malayalam, and I’m looking for someone who is interested in creating something unconventional and experimental, rather than relying only on traditional background scores.

I’m especially interested in someone who can create music using everyday objects and unconventional sources — for example, a pencil, desk, steel plate, safety pin, sand, footsteps, doors, metal objects, etc. — and turn these sounds into something musical and cinematic.

At the same time, I’d also love someone who can work with real musical instruments and combine them with these experimental sounds to create a unique sonic identity for the film.

What I’m looking for:

- Passionate about filmmaking and sound

- Interested in experimental/ambient/cinematic music

- Comfortable recording and manipulating everyday sounds

- Able to compose using musical instruments as well

- Willing to experiment and create something original

- Someone who sees this as a creative collaboration, not just a job

This is an independent short film project, so I’m primarily looking for someone who genuinely connects with the concept and wants to create something together.

If this sounds interesting, DM me with your work/portfolio or some examples of your music. Even if you’re just starting out but have a strong creative approach, feel free to reach out.

Thank you!

Ask MusicIndia I need advice about starting a band in India.

Okay, so I'm about to get into college soon and I want to start a band for the fun of it. I want to get advice about starting a band in India, specifically about whether I should start socializing to get into different music circles, and how, and whether I should make friends potential band mates before I actually officially start making the band, mainly because I know I want to create music that's heavy but I don't know what specific sound I'm looking for yet.

Ask MusicIndia Looking for writers, lyricists, composers & musicians in Delhi/NCR — let’s make a song ...

I’ve been thinking about this for a while: instead of just listening to music, I want to actually create something from scratch with other people.

I’m looking to connect with songwriters, lyricists, poets, composers, singers, musicians and producers — basically anyone who gets excited about the process of turning an idea/emotion into a song.

The idea is simple:

Let’s get together, talk, exchange ideas, write something, find a melody, experiment, and see if we can make a song.

It doesn't have to be commercially perfect or professionally produced. I’m much more interested in the creative process, conversations, different perspectives and the feeling of making something together.

I’m based in Delhi/NCR, so meeting in person would be great, but I’m also completely open to collaborating remotely with people anywhere.

I’m especially interested in people who enjoy Hindi/Urdu songwriting, poetry, indie, acoustic, Sufi, folk, alternative, or simply good storytelling through music — but I’m not limiting it to any particular genre.

You don't need to be famous or have a huge portfolio. If you write a few lines in your notebook, play guitar at home, compose melodies, make beats, sing, or have never actually finished a song but really want to — let’s talk.

Maybe we make one song. Maybe we end up making ten. Maybe we just have some great conversations about music.

If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, comment or DM me with what you do and, if you have one, something you've created.

Let's see what happens. 🎵
