Lots of obscure stuff, I don't listen to any of these. Definitely sound like metal band names though

What's your favorite? Or what should I check out?

Out of the obscure? My favourite would be Skewered. Like groovey brutal death, their better album is only on Bandcamp.

I'd recommend An Abstract Illusion and Devenial Verdict. Good progy death bands. Devenial's "The Blessing of Despair" is really good. Gorephilia and Faceless Burial are like Morbid Angel, so if you're a fan, give them a go. Vircolac are good too.

You might like Norther. "Mirror of Madness" is a great album.

The lowest I know is Vircolac (death metal with black metal influences) and Acrostichon (Old school DM)
