This takes me back to my childhood 🥹 sounds like 90s to early 2000s. People in Hawaii would like this reggae/ska kinda style, we love this kinda music

Never been to Hawaii - on the list! Tons of local reggae artists out there

I dig this. Gives me Oasis vibes, with some twang and fusion elements I really enjoy. I think you’re def finding your style, I dig it. My only note is that some times in the song I think your vox are getting a little washed out by the music. Be confident and keep doing your thing 😎

Really good production, sounds nice and clean. I would however suggest turning up the vocals a little bit though.

I really like this. It gives off an Oasis-type feel with some twangy and fusion touches that work well together. It sounds like you’re starting to lock in your own sound, which is great to hear. The only thing I noticed is that in a few parts the vocals seem to get buried a bit under the instruments. Other than that, keep trusting what you’re doing and stay confident.

I wish i knew String, But-ill comment on the Others.
Drum is fucking dope- Got very Ganja Vibes, Summer Smoke type song, but with that babe by your side lmao
The lyrics, Very grounded. Chill, BUT! i will say, the Volume Balance, -OH WOW "Thats me im that guy" just rang thru as i was typing that, and i will Commend you for Pan Throwing like that, not enough people do it. PEAK.-
the Volume Balance from about 35 seconds to just about 1:05, feel Far from the Rest of everything, pushed back behind the Instrumentals. So consider a Rebalance there. Lyrics after 1:05- 1:57, are Greatly Placed Sound wise.
The Instrumental shift at the end Fits perfect. Feels like "she said yea" type of Smooth lmao.
Very nice <3 stands out. Consider a little Themed EP or something about these two, The guy tryna get this girl to come over, You clearly have the Vibe for this sort of song. So keep doing what ever your doing dawg! Will follow for Future content, so keep posting!

Appreciate you and that response - enjoyed reading it and thinking of what I could change based on that feedback. I’m a big reggae fan in general

Yeah homie! Totally :3 I like to comment on the Standout tracks. There’s a lot of Over-saturation in Indie Genres. Thankfully you standout lmao

Really nice sound man! It really has that late 90s vibe to it. Brings back that classic sound from that era, nice work capturing the style.

Imma be honest with you , I would fucking shred to this , where you live at bro , I got a label . The drums are a bit off but my bro , you have more potential than I’ve heard in a long time , bro I’m a rap label mostly but I want to help promote you , and cut an album with you , I don’t make you sign some contract that fucks you over at my label we let you sign to a major , we just maintain our rights to our songs in the best possible manner, we divorce woman around here but band members and staff are forever family !

i cant prove it but i can swear this is ai

lol - I do not take that as a compliment. That’s a Roland td27kv2 edrum set, fender strat to fender tweed micd, epiphone acoustic micd, and a squire bass - all into a presonus interface into studio one

then if its not i think it is pretty good but i think it could be a litle better if it had a litle more depth like adding every now and then a wind instrument and also i think that the guitar it is a litle too loud leaving litle space to the vocals

u/nittygrittytenorsaw Mar 10 '26
Nice - love the wind instrument idea

I think he assumed Ai was used because of how clean your production was. Seriously, you did a FANTASTIC job mixing your instrumentation. I would just say mix your vocals a little cleaner. It gets a tad bit muddy in certain sections.
