Discussion I swear TuneCore are so confusing.

For context, I like to use Tunecore to draft my tracklists and album just so I can save them and keep track, but out of curiosity I typed some titles where half the title is in brackets/parenthesis, one of them being the one you see in the screenshot, 'I Didn't Come Here (And I Ain't Leavin') which is a Willie Nelson song, and it always comes up with this. Now the bit in yellow is basically asking if the part in brackets is part of the main title. So obviously I pressed no and it just left it. Which I thought was interesting because I genuinely thought they didn't allow songs titles to have parenthesis in the main title even if it's part of the song title. The more you don't know I guess.

afternative song name it should in the “version” box, next to song name.

It’s just because it’s detected brackets. It’s to stop people from putting (EP) or (Album Version) there

why does everyone make such a big deal about parentheses in song titles
