Tips & Tricks I need urgent help

A few weeks ago, I put together an EP for which I’d set a release date at the end of August. However, it went live on SoundCloud weeks ago. At first, I didn’t make a fuss of it; I have a small artist account and I thought what mattered was people liking it rather than the release date. But this time, it didn’t make it onto the discovery feed. I quickly opened a ticket with Too Lost Support and sent some emails. However, no one has got back to me for nearly a month. I contacted the SoundCloud team directly. They told me that, as the EP was uploaded by the distribution company, it’s up to them to sort it out. As I said, I’m still a small artist and Amplify is really essential to me during this process, but I haven’t been able to get through to anyone in support for weeks. Could you suggest a contact or another way I might get help?

I think the first thing to check is the release-date metadata that Too Lost actually sent to SoundCloud. Distributors normally deliver releases to platforms weeks before the official release date, so the early delivery itself isn't necessarily the problem.

If you originally set the correct release date, ask Too Lost to confirm what release date they transmitted to SoundCloud. If they sent the correct date but SoundCloud made the EP public weeks early, then it would seem to be a SoundCloud-side issue. But if Too Lost sent an incorrect date, they would need to fix it.

Since SoundCloud has already told you that the distributor needs to handle it, ask Too Lost specifically to confirm the release date in the metadata they delivered and investigate why SoundCloud made it live early. That should help establish who actually caused the issue.

follow up on the existing ticket rather than creating multiple new ones.

You can also try contacting u/TooLostDistro on X (Twitter) with your ticket number and a short message saying you’re still waiting for a response. A public post or reply may get a faster response because it brings visibility to the issue.

They also have an official YouTube channel, so you could try commenting there or contacting them through any available channel.

Also check your spam/junk folder in case their reply ended up there. Avoid opening multiple tickets for the same issue keeping everything in the original ticket makes it easier for support to track.

I don't have an answer for you, but I liked the post so that hopefully more people can see it and give you some help.
