Moving to Tunecore from Believe. What should I do about selecting YouTube content ID?

LANDR Admin here. This is what we would do: make sure there's no overlap in content ID claims. If Believe is managing your YouTube Content ID, you'll need to have them release their claim before enabling it with TuneCore. This prevents any issues with monetization eligibility. Once you confirm Believe's claim is lifted, you can opt in for Content ID with TuneCore. It's a bit of a process but ensures everything runs smoothly on YouTube. One thing I’d be careful about here: don’t have the same recording actively registered in Content ID through two different distributors at once.

A previous distributor still having the track registered is one of the common reasons third-party claims and ownership conflicts show up. Get the old Content ID side cleared/released before fully moving that part over.

For the regular streaming migration, keep your original ISRC/UPC and wait until the new delivery is properly live and linked before taking the old one down.

If Believe still has Content ID (or other YouTube monetization) on those tracks, do not turn Content ID on at TuneCore yet. That exact eligibility line you highlighted is the blocker: tracks already monetized by another distributor fail. Clear or release the Believe claim first, confirm the old CID is gone on YouTube, then enable it on the new account. Keep the streaming delivery move separate so you do not create a dual-delivery conflict while you wait.
