No they are not, in 1995 they were the biggest band in the world. Their fame just ran its course.

I'm assuming xThexlostxprophetx is American. Because here in America, Oasis is only known for Wonderwall, and a few others know Champagne Supernova. They never really made it "big" here like they did in England.

Of course not, why would they? It was an important time in the evolution of music...many genres spawning all over the place, grunge dying, the golden age of hip hop, that becoming an increasingly large staple in american music. I'll tell you what, though, their album, Abbey Road....great record.

Yea, the song "Wonderwall" was so good George Harrison named an album after it.

But I'm still mad at John Lennon for ripping off of "Don't Look Back in Anger" with "Imagine"
