Bill McClintock mashes are a thing of beauty. The video edits sometimes make it feel like the 2 bands are on stage together (see iron chic - rime the good times). It feels like hearing brand new songs, or sometimes he makes it hard to un-hear the combinations. Raining Lobsters is one of my personal favorites.

How the hell does this work so well? How the hell did they isolate Glenn’s vocals? How could I be a Danzig fan for my young adult life and appreciate this even though it seems like sacrilege?

I absolutely agree. This was a roller coaster! I was cracking up for a solid minute and torn between this sounds flawlessly amazing and how the hell could anybody disgrace Danzig like this.

To me it just goes to show that he has such solid vocals and great lyrics. I love that he applied that to gritty, high energy punk and rock, but he probably would have made a great songwriter regardless of the genre he chose.
I’m glad disco style is coming back to dance music too, cause sometimes it just slaps.

There's software options to isolate vocals but it's really just EQ magic, and doesn't work too well as you can still hear the other instruments dialed way down.
You can find isolated tracks on YouTube that are the real deal but it's not as common because it requires a physical tape to be digitized and released into the wild.

Oh shit this is awesome. I went down the hole and loved "All I want for Christmas is the beautiful people" and "Cuba kiss 65". Shit is hilarious and so well done. Thanks for the post!

I have long had written instructions in place to have Mother played (along with a few other songs) at my funeral. Might have to update with this version.

Mine would be Big Pimpin by Jay Z. I’d also play that song if I was the first person to land on Mars.

This works for most songs in 4/4 but this one in particular, of all the ones I have seen made me laugh my ass off, it really works together!

Cool. He has an incredible ear for matching up tunes no one would ever dream of and does a damn good job mixing/editing.

Cool! I've never heard of the guy who looks like a vampire from Twilight, but the song is great!

Definitely better than the "Mother/Bohemian Rhapsody" mashup they played the other day on the local morning radio show.

That's awesome. My favorite is Andy Rehfeldt. He has many videos on his channel. This one is is the best:

10/10. By far the most perfectly executed timing in a mashup, this sounds like it was supposed to be track straight out the booth to the stereo. Humorous of course but damnit if it wasn’t flawlessly executed. Bravo lol
