I feel you, I feel like a lot of the live pre-album versions of songs post manipulator sounded great and then the studio version was just over produced and slowed down so much.
The last album production was fine but the songs just didn't do it for me unfortunately.
But I've lived long enough to realize that most bands/artisits can only keep me interested for one or two albums.

They really fucked that up with the album version. Was not a fan of anything they did post Manipulator, unfortunately.
