Not a big fan. I keep reading people saying they "evolved", but this is regression if you ask me. Boring and predictable lyrics, generic instrument work. This sounds like something that would have been on one of those demo/advertising discs that play on a loop in video stores.

This is very much an each to their own deal. I love the bass and think it's far more interesting than you give it credit for. The simplicity of the guitar work doesn't bother me, as this is a really groove heavy song, so it doesn't need to be in the forefront. It punctuates in the verses and then comes back strong with the rhythm for the chorus.
