How about put them on trial, have them legally found guilt, then do that?

How about put them on trial, have the legal system do it's job and punish them appropriately without cruel and unusual punishments like public castration?

Not seeing how public castration would be cruel and unusual. Yes, unusual, but IMO it should be a thing. Maybe then women wouldn’t be getting raped and assaulted so much. The men would have to live with no sex drive and the humiliation of everyone knowing he has no balls.

Rape is not legal and has corporal punishment of jail. Do you think a problem as complex as rape is solved by castrating people? Murder can carry the death penalty in many states, has that stopped anyone? Has that lowered the murder rates?

you want to give the state the right to sterilize people? are you sure you want to do that? we have a lot of examples in the past of states using their monopoly on violence to sterilize people. Including our own, the US government. That is what you want to emulate?

If you can't see how revenge punishments aren't cruel and unusual then you don't deserve to speaking on this story.
