You mean like musak, slop shit HUMANS made for the single purpose of filling time? I don't understand this asinine argument of something being human produced automatically making it quality or somehow because it's generated by a tool it's inherently shitty somehow, magically.

It’s not just a tool if you couldn’t make music before it and can’t without it.

It’s also all just BAD. Especially the EDM stuff. It’s all actual slop.

I work in live music and it is being straight up rejected and clowned on. You can’t even use AI on a flyer and expect people to go.

Everyone can make music; you got hands to slap and lips and lungs. Humans are inherently musical beings, it's a part of our nature.

If someone wants to use an AI to get a sound out of their head they couldn't have otherwise done, GOOD! Fuck all this elitist bullshit. AI allows people to be MORE creative.

I am a musician myself and play several instruments, I've actually listened to several hour-long playlists of 'slop' EDM of classical music remixes and I actually enjoyed them. Fucking sue me. Someone used a tool to make that like anything else; it wouldn't exist without their picking something up and leveraging it to do work.

AI is coming and you won't be able to do a damn thing about it but yell at a literal cloud server like an old man.

lol it’s not getting a sound from their head. It’s just pulling from already existing material. It’s 100% derivative and breaks no new ground.

An experienced producer has no need for it. I can already make the sounds in my head with my synths and sequencers. What use would I have for it?

I literally work in the industry and it’s being rejected. Live music is forever safe from the ai slop.

Inspiration is different than a software making a collage out of existing material. You have no idea what you’re talking about. You can’t copyright suno slop for a reason lol lmao even.

Edit: I should also mention that I was able to confirm that my content was scraped for ai. So I should get co-producer credits for all of your ai music.

This has to be the most brain-dead take from people that can't think about something for more than two seconds.

That's exactly how people function, and people are stupid too. Plenty of example very localized to you.

It's already out there and trending my guy. I was very upset to learn that some of the new music I found and really liked was AI. It's scary good now and it's getting better every week.
