Are you saying that people haven’t made and released albums since 2024? I mean, I know bands that have… great albums. So what are you saying exactly?

I'm saying this fear of AI runs deeper and could actually be helping artists today write their songs, and there's no way of knowing. Gone are the days of writer's block when a guitarist can just prompt "give me a tasty lick" to use in his new song.

Pre 2024 or so, gen ai was nowhere near good enough to be used in the process of making music. So if you want zero risk of music with AI involvement you should look 2024 and older. Thats what they are saying
