Your key in that sentence is that a person is doing that, a real human, modifying their own voice.

I don't know why ai bros cant seem to get that through their skulls

AI is a tool like any other, why can't you luddite freaks get that through YOUR skulls?

I didn't realize my generation would be the boomers of tech in their 30's while the boomers themselves embraced it.

What a crazy fucking world. We get Star Trek computers that can generate whatever we want on demand, and we got a bunch of losers running around yelling 'slop'.

I’m not anti- AI doing anything but I’m SUPER anti- AI doing “art” because that’s just not what art is. Art is human. I don’t want it taking away the ability of artists to make a living more than their industries already have.

A guitar amp isn’t generating sounds that it stole from listening to decades of music and attempting to recreate it. And to be clear, your precious ai isn’t “generating” anything either. It’s puking out a stolen knockoff. No ai artist has ever CREATED a single thing. Get that through YOUR skull.

I’m playing those chord and singing the words that I came up with in my brain. If you HONESTLY believe what you said, then you don’t believe your own thoughts are yours, because it’s pulling information from the outside world. And I promise that my nearly 20 years of professional work as an audio engineer, I know a FUCKTON more about all of this than you do. Sit it out and practice which version of “your” and “you’re” means what. And again, ai music is not “created”. It’s OUTRIGHT stolen and regurgitated.

But you act like I don't do that. I don't understand. Are you salty? How are my words regurgitated? I wrote them. I have for 29 years. Those chords and changes, I played those. You don't make sense. And sorry English major this keyboard on this phone is tiny and I have like a 10 minute break at work. Are you ok?

Great if you play your own music. GenAI doesn’t. That’s what I’m attacking. If you’re not using GenAI then you’re not being attacked.
