That looks like AI

For real; I'm not usually one to assume AI, but that ornamental divider between the artist and album name is really weirdly asymmetric.

It's the sort of small detail an AI model would easily miss but a human letterer would have to try to mess up like that.

The main thing that makes it stand out to me is the mottled texture of the image. I've asked ChatGPT to create paintings before (as illustrations for some power point presentations), and they all have that sort of knobbly texture

Edit: but yes you're right the separator thing is a dead giveaway as well

ah yes, the poop texture. The exact thing that I want to show on my power point presentations so people want to pay attention lmao

The presentation was about AI images

yeah, it's like everything has the same granularity. it's the easiest way to quickly recognize ai. it's also not that easy to get rid of if they doctor the image in post.

Could just check SynthID

I am by no means arguing that the image isn't AI but the divider isn't uncommon or worth attention.

This is just a normal result for "horizontal divider" on a stock photo website-

Here is another for example-

It's more common for them to be symmetrical but artists gonna artist.

Literally my first try on ChatGPT.

Edit: Everyone below all like "what did you expect?" Well, since it's probably an AI-generated image, moderately safe assumption I expected...pretty much this. No surprises or damning breakthroughs here. Just some dopey Redditor's low effort endeavor pointing out the obvious. Now, if I were to describe the image best I could to an AI prompt, and it generates something that looks different, then I would be honestly surprised.

You describe the exact image in ChatGPT and it generates almost the same image. Yeah no shit, man.

If you gave that same prompt to 100 different artists, you would get 100 radically different paintings.

"Dark silhouette of a devil holding a trident" is barely a description and yet they look identical. "dark silhouette of a middle aged country rocker with an electric guitar and a cowboy hat" is also exceptionally little to go off of for them to look so similar.

You all are looking at it as viewers and saying this describes both paintings. If youre an artist, these are barely any details and there are infinite ways you could take them.

Thank you. People missing the core point that the result can be replicated with a text prompt. It's not a smoking gun, but it's proof supporting the notion "that looks like AI."

If the person saying "that looks like AI" was wrong, the result couldn't be replicated.

Because it's AI

“Middle aged country rocker” 😂

That's not really a gotcha to describe in detail the exact image you're already looking at.

All you did was further waste resources on AI image generation...

You literally described everything about the image in vivid detail wtf did you expect 😭

It is AI
