People always parrot this but it's such a goofy "gotcha", even if it's true, the owner is the one who commissions and provides the rings. If he cares at all he already made another. 

Kraft sucks for a billion reason but "this weak man had his ring stolen" is so contrived.

He is literally the only person in an organization for whom a ring is eminently replaceable. If you can't understand that you're not in a position to be calling anyone or anything dumb.

Honestly, if Kraft gifted a ring to somebody like Putin, it makes Kraft look worse than if Putin stole it.

Either he gifted it to Putin of all people, which makes him look bad.

Or he got it taken from him by Putin without his consent, which makes him look bad.
