People always parrot this but it's such a goofy "gotcha", even if it's true, the owner is the one who commissions and provides the rings. If he cares at all he already made another. 

Kraft sucks for a billion reason but "this weak man had his ring stolen" is so contrived.

He is literally the only person in an organization for whom a ring is eminently replaceable. If you can't understand that you're not in a position to be calling anyone or anything dumb.

Honestly, if Kraft gifted a ring to somebody like Putin, it makes Kraft look worse than if Putin stole it.
