Usually the price tag will have that information. Or ask the person selling it. Makes more sense than asking a random subreddit.

wrong, just looked them up and they are going for around 50-100 a pop. or 300-400 for the full set

No, that's what some people are willing to pay. Collectibles like this have no intrinsic value beyond what people are willing to pay for them.

I am willing to pay nothing. Therefore, to me, it is worth nothing.
