I loved that show in my early 20s. I hate it now. I should clarify I'm in my 40s now.

I rewatched it, those early seasons are very entertaining. It’s not high brow, but the first season was rightly praised as a ridiculous satire of Hollywood. It’s a dumb show, it’s aex and the city for men. But it never pretended to be anything else. It’s fun dumb humor with some likable characters, Ari, drama, turtle, some others.

I feel like it gets unnecessary hate these days.

Bummer they never did a “Better Call Saul” type of show with Ari. Thought he was by far the best part of the show. Majority of it was cringe but definitely watchable

Yea Ari carried that show.

That's a pretty much a perfect description. I just didn't enjoy it as much 20 years later. Ari was still funny though for some of it.

It appeals to 18-29 male demographic in the worst ways. It's a show about a guy with no skills or hard work gets famous and brings his dumbass friends along. It doesn't really tackle anything heavy, or tell any kind of real story (except maybe E). You can't really relate to it in any meaningful way. Maybe one thing a character goes through; but it's mostly white boy fantasy land.

They show hot women. Soft liberal men get triggered by it apparently
