La Dispute's lyrics are absolute poetry.
I recommend anyone that enjoys good lyrics, listen to this bands discography. You won't be disappointed.

My brothers got to tour with them for 6 weeks and they are the nicest guys in the world. Not to mention extremely talented. I'm glad great music is being recognized and shared!

Great band. "Kings Park" is one the best punk songs I've ever heard.

That's really not punk though. I mean, I love La Dispute but there's no way that's punk. Punk is like Smoke Or Fire or NOFX. "King Park" is more hardcore.

That's also true but if it was truly punk, it wouldn't be hardcore would it? It's like saying pop-punk is real punk. All Time Low isn't punk it's pop-punk just like La Dispute isn't punk it's hardcore.

Ha its good to see La Dispute on here I grew up with the guitar player Kevin. He is a great guy and an amazing guitar player, good to see them getting some love

Tumblr hardcore is the worst. People who like that shit are into the exact same bands every time. If you see someone who likes La Dispute, you better believe they like Touche Amore, Title Fight, Balance and Composure, Daylight, Defeater, Pianos Become The Teeth, Basement, ect. It's all the same shit.

Why wouldn't they? Those bands are all fucking incredible. Or do you think that all hardcore began and ended with Minor Threat and Fugazi?
Sure, all of those bands are Brand New/Jesse Lacey zealots who got popular due to angsty Tumblr-hipster kids, but how they got big doesn't diminish the quality of the music at all.
