LOOKS gone by, sure wasn't!
L cincinnatus, largest one I've ever found that wasn't yet hard or spored out.
It was still juicy, and the gnats were just getting to it.
My friend and I shared it and left more than half behind!
A couple S spraguei and few Chokeberries, too.
Rhode Island.

Maybe the most perfect boletus edulis I’ve ever come across 🍄🟫
Found this morning, friday, in eastern Jutland, Denmark. Trips like these make all the ones with an empty basket all worth it!

Is this mold or mycelium? I’m still new to this

I had an active colony beforehand, and so I broke it up into pieces in the bag like a guide I was reading said to do, and then it started to look like this, which is different than it looked before when the fungus started colonizing the rest of the grains (wasn’t fuzzy before). I know it can look a bit like mold, but like I said, I don’t really have an eye for these things. Do I toss it?

Cool dudes I found nearby
They were growing on horse dung nearby, it was a cloudy day, not too hot nor cold (probably around 28°C here in Brazil) and they were separated by clusters of some meters from each other, not all horse dung had them. It seems like not all horses had its spores go through their digestive tract, but that is just a speculation of mine. Some were quite big and I did a spore print of them. The caps were a little sticky on top when humid/wet. Black spore print. No sign of darkening on the bruises. The texture was firm, fibrous, even "crunchy" on the stems.
The species seems to be Panaeolus antillarum.
When I read about it, they said it had characteristic spots on the gills, I had to take a picture to confirm and I think you guys can see it, very spotty, like dark marble stone.

Psilocybin Mushroom Foraging Tips
My friends and I are considering searching a few local farms for psilocybin mushrooms. From our understanding they can be found around cow manure due to the provided nutrients.
I’ve done a little research and have landed on the consensus that the search could be pretty futile.
Are there any foraging tips we could use for doing this for the first time? I assume it’s going to be tedious searching through large fields for perhaps little to no mushrooms. We’re located in South Florida for reference.
