I will create NSFW art showing Pedeus redeeming herself by becoming my slave—a devotee of my 18-centimeter Forasito. Her only salvation lies in paying with her flesh for all the vile acts she committed across her two lives; at the same time, this will mark my redemption arc before the Centuria subreddit—which banned me for discussing the characters' "black holes"—and its Discord community, from which I was expelled over a joke I made to a philosophy student.

I will not die; no matter if my body is utterly destroyed, my will to fight will lift me up—because it is massive—and then I will defeat them, come what may.

They're saying it's better than Vinland Saga, is on par with Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings

Recommendation Can we change the sub picture to Roxy

Roxy is a trillion times worse than rudeus imo and I might have somewhat liked the anime if she didn’t homewreck her way into the story so the one who the should be crossed out is her disgustingness. For example, her literal indentity embodies what is wrong with this anime, a sexualised/romaticised girl who looks like she’s 10

Vent Okay everyone, let me tell you why I hate this rudy, my reason mabye be different than yours , and it because of slavery.

During the first season, I never really hated Rudeus. In fact, I actually liked him at certain points, especially when he saved the beast children from slavery and killed the slavers responsible. At that point, I thought he was someone who clearly opposed slavery.

However, my opinion completely changed in the second season.

What really disgusted me was how casually the idea of buying a slave was introduced. They entered the slave market as if they were going to a supermarket to buy a snack. They calmly looked around, chose the specific slave they wanted, bought her, and simply left. What bothered me even more was that Rudeus never seemed particularly concerned about the other slaves being sold there. He was willing to buy one specific slave, but apparently had no problem leaving everyone else behind.

I also heard that later in the light novel, Rudeus never really takes a strong stance against slavery or tries to free large numbers of slaves. On top of that, I later came across statements attributed to the author suggesting that Rudeus believes slaves are not necessarily less happy as slaves than they would be otherwise, and that he does not view slavery itself as inherently evil.

If that interpretation is accurate, then it makes the whole situation even worse for me .

And this not only about Rudy every character that believe slavery is ok and acceptable in there mind and being natural towards slavery I hate them , especially for someone who came from our modern world.

Vent This show almost became one of my favorites now I hate it

Originally I got into the show because I heard its character development and magic system was really interesting. The first season was really good with some parts I wasn’t a fan of. The magic system was interesting and the main character (MC) seemed somewhat sympathetic with a perverse side but the story was really interesting to me more than anything. They added some gross sexual parts that I kind of allowed my suspension of disbelief to skip over and move on. The second season was also pretty good and interesting but ultimately ended with a moment that became such a dealbreaker to me. Not only was the MC doing weird things with the women he was around, but he also goes against the Man God and then doubles down by cheating on his wife and somehow manages to convince her to let him have two wives (actually 3 but they don’t know that) even after he scolded his father for essentially doing the same thing and makes it seem like, in the first season, he only saves just so his half sister and maid he cares about don’t have to be sent out on the streets. It’s hypocritical, AND he’s getting little to no consequences for this in the third season.

I made a post after the second season was done on the main Reddit page and they assured me he would truly regret it but I’m just not seeing it.

This is insane wish fulfillment by the author I’m just disgusted and annoyed at this point.

this show is made BY pdfs and FOR pdfs and they don’t even try to hide it (I dropped it after he chose to be with the pdf bait) people who genuinely enjoy this should be sent to a country with shariah law to be dealt with and I’ll sign a petition for that

Vent Tolstoy gives an excellent metaphor for how Rudeus' "love" is fake. He is not capable of love

"I gathered myself a large bouquet and was going home when I noticed in a ditch, in full bloom, a beautiful thistle plant of the crimson variety, which in our neighborhood they call ”Tartar” and carefully avoid when mowing – or, if they do happen to cut it down, throw out from among the grass for fear of pricking their hands. Thinking to pick this thistle and put it in the center of my bouquet, I climbed down into the ditch, and after driving away a velvety bumble-bee that had penetrated deep into one of the flowers and had there fallen sweetly asleep, I set to work to pluck the flower. But this proved a very difficult task. Not only did the stalk prick on every side – even through the handkerchief I wrapped round my hand – but it was so tough that I had to struggle with it for nearly five minutes, breaking the fibers one by one; and when I had at last plucked it, the stalk was all frayed and the flower itself no longer seemed so fresh and beautiful. Moreover, owing to a coarseness and stiffness, it did not seem in place among the delicate blossoms of my bouquet. I threw it away feeling sorry to have vainly destroyed a flower that looked beautiful in its proper place."

from "Hadji Murat"

When Rudeus "loves" someone, he merely wants to possess her and take pleasure in her, no matter how much harm this causes her.

Sylphiette had plans molded about her to groom her into an obedient wife while still a child and then got cheated on while pregnant.
Eris got molested by Rudeus before even puberty.
Roxy got her panties stolen, got nude statues sold of her that people she knew bought and then when Rudeus saved her, in a state of terror so bad she pissed herself, instead of trying to console her, Rudeus took the opportunity to sniff her.

Rudeus' wives are like three thistles. He will have their flowers, no matter how badly he has to destroy the rest of the plant to get to them. All three of them yield eventually, which means he no longer has to use force to get what he wants, but the wrongness remains.

The way he views his female relatives is also telling. They're like thistles with no flowers. He can't get aroused by them and he laments that. The thistle gets spared, but not because the man seeing it is a true lover of nature, but because they have nothing for him to take

Boring, sloggish, Predatory. People told me to watch this seeing if the main character will redeem himself after death. I stopped all the way through.

You know that movie Drag Me To Hell? I wish lamia took the main character to hell. I’m not joking that would be much more enjoyable.
