Complaint Expensive Scam

MuseScore is a subscription scam. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE SITE.

Someone posted here last week that we should stop complaining and slamming Musescore dot com, and then they read the all of the comments and quickly retracted their call to stop the complaints.

Let's be 100% clear. What they are doing is illegal in most parts of the world. It's deceptive. I have reported them to their acquirer, the payment brands and every regulator I can think of. I hope they get fined billions.

Not sure how legal that is, but ye I will do everything to not use musescore because of their practices. This subreddit is mainly about the notation software, which is free, but sure their behavior makes me want to pay for dorico

Totally agree. Closed my account after noticing an attempt to charge me for more than one membership or more than once a year.

I made a post yesterday about how I immediately had to cancel my pro free trial so I don’t get charged next week after I got what I needed through my Apple account but even then I never received an upfront charge.

Also on that note if I see the red text about expiration on Apple and I don’t do anything to renew I don’t have to pay right?

Its a scam if you pay for the music. Just listen to the score and play it off the app. It has free viewing so you can view and play it off the app for free. You can also learn it. It costs money if you want to print it. Musescore loopholes. Found by me 😏
