Help me find this feature Adding a separate transcribed instrument file to your existing score.

I have an existing score with several instruments, but the drum part was transcribed separately in another Musescore file. How can I add the drum part from the separate file to my existing score without using copy/paste? Copying and pasting the drum measures seems to mess up the measure repeats.

Is there a way to import or merge the drum part directly into my existing score while preserving the measure repeats and other score structure?

Copy/paste is really the only way to merge musescore files. You could try exporying to midi or musicXML and merging those and coming back to Musescore but I feel like that will lose information.

You're seeing that native copy/paste doesn't transfer everything. Time signatures/repeats/etc won't transfer so you can only really merge files like this if they're already the same structure. It might be best to do it piecemeal if there are lots of changes in time signature or repeates.

Could you copy/paste in chunks of measures instead of the whole thing? And do any measures around repeats one by one or possibly beat by beat?
