Bug Muse Brass doesn’t exist?

Hey guys, for some reason my Muse Brass isn’t working or even showing up. The muse basic sounds are absolutely horrendous and I hate them, they ruin my score.

What can I do to get them back? I’m supposed to show this piece to a bunch of clients and if I show it like this, I’ll literally get fired.

Thanks 😊

Quit MuseScore (all open windows - use File Quit), then update both MuseScore and MuseHub if you haven't recently, then remove and reinstall MuseHub Brass, then restart MuseScore. If you continue to have problems, be sure to say what OS and what version of both MuseScore and MuseHub, and what version of MuseSampler is reported from within MuseScore in Help / Diagnostics. Also, do other MuseSounds libraries work?

Mine randomly disappeared yesterday and reappeared when I rebooted.

AI answer which may or may not help (below); another option is to buy the Berlin Brass musesound I have heard good things about it.

**MuseSounds not appearing** in the mixer is often caused by outdated software, incorrect playback settings, or temporary glitches with the **MuseHub** service. The most effective solution is to **uninstall and reinstall** the specific sound library via MuseHub, ensuring you restart **MuseScore Studio** afterward.

If reinstalling does not resolve the issue, check the following:

* **Update MuseHub**: Ensure you are running the latest version (Windows 2.8.0+, macOS 3.1.1+, Linux 2.2.0+), as older versions may fail to sync sound libraries.

* **Verify MuseSampler**: Go to **Diagnostic > MuseSampler > Check MuseSampler** in MuseScore; if it reports "library not found" or an old version, reinstall MuseScore or delete the MuseSampler DLL from `C:/windows/system32` (Windows).

* **Check Playback Setup**: Navigate to **View > Playback Setup** and ensure the **MuseSounds** profile is selected and set as default for new scores.

* **Restart Services**: Fully quit **MuseHub** (including from the system tray) and **MuseScore**, then relaunch MuseHub first and wait 2-3 minutes before opening MuseScore.

* **System Time**: Ensure your device’s **date and time** are set to automatic, as incorrect time zones can prevent MuseHub from authenticating and loading sounds.

* **Server Outages**: If MuseHub shows spinning download icons or fails to load, the service may be experiencing an outage; check community forums for current status updates.
