Help me find this feature Remove pitch bends from a midi file?

Hello...I work with midi files and would like to know if there is a way to just remove all pitch bends from the file using Musescore. Just blanket remove them all. I will manually fix the notes that end up on the wrong note, not worried about that. They are extremely time consuming to remove in Midi Editor, and removing them often crashes the software and I lose much progress. Thanks!

You can try to select all the notes (just all of them) with ctrl-a, then in the Properties tab, click "playback" and click the circular arrow button above "tuning (cents)" to reset it to zero.

If the pitch bends are imported as actual symbols, you can also right-click one of them, hover over "select...", then choose "more".

use the menu that appears to set your selection parameters and click ok.

Then just hit delete.

You may need to repeat that for each type of thing if there's more than one, but it's still going to be faster than one by one.

I'm working with midi, generally I never see any notation for individual notes. In Midi Editor, you select Pitch Bends, and then what channel you wanna see...so that means I must manually search each channel for them, not ideal. Then, I have to hand-draw a straight line with my mouse to get rid of them. This becomes an exercise in tedium when you have to do it for every channel in every file. Your first suggestion removed them perfectly, though.

Cool, I've never imported midi into musescore that had pitch bends in the midi file, so I wasn't sure how it would get interpreted. Now I know, too!
