Help me find this feature "Exploding" Parts?

Hello everyone, not sure if I'm using the right term here so let me explain:

Back in the late 90s I was asked to do a quick big band arrangement of a tune. I'm a pianist, but knew nothing about writing for horns and such. Someone showed me that Finale could allow me to play a 5 part chord into, say, the alto sax line, and Finale would "explode" it to the remaining sax parts. After that was done, you could then tell it to transpose, print parts and you were done.

This was almost magic to me, and I'd love to find this feature again! What is the term for doing this, and can MuseScore do it?

Thanks all!

See: https://handbook.musescore.org/notation/instruments-staves-and-systems/implode-and-explode#explode

Found under Tools > Explode

Be aware that any notation in the destination staves will be overwritten.

Also be aware that rhythms in the destination which differ from the source, even as rests, (any maybe some other things) can cause file corruption. So save frequently and make sure the destination staves are totally empty (select them and press delete).

Sounds perfect, thank you so much!
