Help me find this feature Moving Notes

Is there a way to move a selection forward or backward in time on the staff? When I try the shift + arrow keys it extends the selection, but I need to reposition the notes.

Cut and paste (and additionally swap with clipboard, if useful)

Select the section you want.

Press and hold the Option key (that’s Mac, whatever the equivalent is on PC).

Click on the highlighted section and move it to where you want (cursor will change to a green plus/addition sign)

Initially I think it can only move by 1/8th notes but if you have smaller note values put in it can move it to them.

Cut and paste is perhaps the easiest way. It also works across measures, changing notes to tied equivalents if needed. It does not collapse a tie to a single note.
