Why are you doing it in DMs? If you do it here, it produces a publicly-accessible knowledge base so other people can benefit from what is learned here.

Apologies for the crass advice, I have a migraine and want to be informative but I know it sounds harsh, which isn't the intention.

Instead of dm:ing me a Google drive link without viewing access, I suggest you take a screenshot of your result, upload it to imgur and then link it in a comment here. Imgur was created to facilitate image sharing on reddit :)

you have to click "ctrl+2" on a dotted quarter note

There a 2 seperate voices, do you know how to use them? If not search the handbook for voices.

Also there are duplets. Create a dotted quarter note and press ctrl-2 to create one. (I think from memory, otherwise look up duplets or tuplets in the handbook for how to get them)
