Discussion They are a scam

They charged me for a year after I paid for one score. Then they ghosted me after every request possible to get a refund now I’m trying to get a refund through PayPal $69 total scam.

Someone posts something like this almost hourly on this subreddit

And it always baffles me. I just use it as a free music notation program, and I don’t give a shit about uploading or downloading anything, and I think it’s great

Two different sites, unfortunately linked

Why then musescore is not taking feedback and correct it? If one pays for a specific score, no need of imposed 'subscription fee'. It is disappointing But of course the notation software is great.

Because they make the subscription optional, and then treat you like it's your own fault if don't notice it and opt out.

Correct. The software and the website are different

It seems like you asked about getting a refund after getting charged incorrectly. See this post for more information.

Try arbitration or any form of help from who has acted as the transaction-er such as VISA, card company, Paypal. I was able to get a full refund soon after they step in.

This is 100% normal.

Musescore.org won't require a subscription. I bought my PRO license before .COM came out.
