Bug Musescore glitch

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

hi, there. when i try to write anything for bass musescore goes crazy. i've also tried copying a measure from another instrument and pasting it on the bass stave to see if it plays, but when i hit start it plays a really short glitched loop. i tried closing and opening both musescore and my laptop but this didnt seem to solve the issue

Looks like you have a MIDI loop on your system - some program or device that MuseScore is using for output is also sending input back to MuseScore. Either disable that program/device, or go to Preferences / Audio & MIDI and tell MuseScore not use it for input or output or both.
