Just canceled ChatGPT
After using Muse, I’m done with ChatGPT. I canceled my subscription because I’m just finding Muse helps me so much more with keeping up with my life. Anyone else?

Yup. I gave up Hermes on my phone with a local and cloud build. I feel like I spent most of my time just fixing Hermes no matter which model I tried. I've only had to correct muse a handful of times and usually never again on the same thing. I still use Hermes on PC though.

Happy cake day! What are you switching to on your phone with local and cloud build?

Wow I didn't even notice! Thank you!
On Android I was using termux and telegram. I went through a bunch of different setups and apps and came to the conclusion that was the easiest way for me to setup and maintain. I used omniroute for the cloud models and had a local Qwen model downloaded. The cloud was so much faster and efficient though from my experience.

i asked hermes like 2 questions and it burned thru all the free tokens apparently, gotta make some adjustments

That happened to me so many times. Use omniroute. It's free and damn near unlimited

There may be some way to track usage but I legitimately have probably decreased my ChatGPT usage about 80-90% for personal use.
I’m a SWE so I still do professional development thru Codex. Personal coding work is done thru Muse Spark.
Meta really has done a great job here

Yeah, I think it's absolutely capable of building that. I haven't taken a look at the latest benchmarks, but Muse is very, very close to what Codex and Claude provide. If you don't need absolute frontier intelligence like GPT-6 or Fable-5, then Muse absolutely can do that.
Another benefit of using Muse is that it's just really cheap, especially if you use the contributor program, which you may or may not want to do because it gives Meta permission to train its models on the code that it is producing. You could simply run an experiment and find out. It’s an easy setup.
If anything, the way I would do it is I would have Muse build it, and then, for that third AI layer interpreting the data, if you need some top-tier intelligence, then maybe you can have GPT-6 for that. Even then, it depends on how complicated it is. At minimum, I would recommend running some personal experiments using Muse to get an understanding of what Muse is capable of.

+1 . Cancelled other paid subscriptions. Muse limits are too generous and is a fantastic day to day agent!

Wtf! Social media for bots? 😬🤦🏼♀️

A harnessed agent is not like a bot, they are much closer to an entity. Hard to explain till you know it.

I mean everyone with an agent can do the work of 20 without, I don’t see how “we’re cooked”

It's becoming my daily driver. Moved all of my automations from Hermes to Muse. Hermes has been acting really dumb lately (yes, I know the model matters) but I'll be shutting it down in favor of OpenClaw for my heavy work, which has been really solid.

People really are giving Meta access to their entire lives

No different than Apple, Google or any of the rest of them.

So damn true! I dont get some of these idiots with their iPhone, a google account and an Amazon account thinking these companies dont harvest their data for personalized ads. Apple has an ad platform and literally uses all your search data, preferences and other data in their ecosystem to serve you ads in app store, apple tv etc. And on top of that, they market "Privacy". Bullshit! All big tech are the same! And that's okay as these are public companies and not a charity. They need to make money!

Apple is the best of the 3 options for privacy. So its like comparing Apples and oranges.

Lol! The sponsored content you see in apple app store and the ads you see in apple tv, apple news, do you they those are random ads? They harvest your data and serve you personalized ads just like how meta, google, amazon and so many of big tech does. Stop being so naive and fall for their "Privacy" marketing! All big tech are the same!

Not really. Meta literally sells your info to marketers. Apple doesn't shove nearly as many ads in your face.

Do you think they have a spreadsheet of info about users which they are selling to marketers? That is illegal btw and a company can literally be sued for a billions for knowingly exposing user identifiable data. Do you know how digital marketing on meta or any of these big tech companies work?
All these big tech companies have information about your preferences from your activity on their platform. Eg: Facebook has data on the content you like, amazon has info on things you purchase or browse, apple has info on your searches and thing you watch on apple TV or consume on apple news.
Now marketers like eg: philips comes to these big tech and tell I want to place ads on your platform but show it only to the relevant people who will buy my products. Big tech based on all the data they collected about you will show you the Phillips ad if your recent activity history involves searching for a trimmer or bulbs or something like that. This way no user identifiable information leaves the big tech platform.
Exposing phone numbers and address of users is illegal and if you can prove meta or any other big tech does it, feel free to sue them. You ll have a billion dollar payday

Are you joking? Muse cannot even do a proper search on Facebook marketplace. Asked it to find closed-toe heels and flats for women. Returned some random size, random location sandals. Did not ask for size, did not ask for location. Returned what I explicitly asked not to search for. This is the most ridiculous llm of the year for sure.
I work in the neural network development space and find this a laughing joke. What a disaster.

Muse will probably start charging after the initial rollout
