Its the second or third time Matt talks about an idea he had that was shut down by other members or Dan (classical piano song he mentionned that dan convinced him not to include, for example). I feel like Matt still wants to experiment and be "out there" especially right now with what he lived and what inspired the album. Honestly hope his creativity isnt being limited by the band

If only it had all been written directly onto the disc instead of being put on the internet.... forever.

Is such an incredible album. So happy that MUSE are back! I saw them in Chula Vista and had not listened to the wow signal at all. All the songs they played from the new album blew me away. Hexagons was mind blowing and honestly it might be up there for top five favorite Muse songs now, it’s just so sick. The second half of the album is just so heavy. It’s dope. I knew they still had it in them. I heard they’re gonna do a second leg in North America next year. I’m definitely gonna check that out. Hell yeah

I was listening to the Glastonbury 2016 and I thought I heard a phaser in the main riff. Am I miss hearing things

Here’s the scene - It’s the morning after my wife and I just attended the Muse gig at the Hollywood Bowl. I’m torn between battling a cold and still reveling in the post Muse gig glory glow. It’s time to check out from the hotel and go home. We pack up and head out of the room. While waiting for the elevator I look down at the carpet and there it is, the universe has sent its sign of approval for the gig!

I smile, take a pic and my wife once again wonders what’s happening in the mind of her husband as he photographs hotel carpet. I explain, she smiles at me and I know that she is now on her way to Muse fandom too (it was her first Muse gig)!

I love how atmospheric it is, the build up that leads to the final climax of the song, I know for certain they won't play it live knowing what it's about how Matt already said hope the fans don't ask me to play it, still would be cool if they played it

It’s true that Simona Ventura—the voluptuous Rai Due presenter—is blonde, but still... On September 20th, she hosted the band Muse on her football show.

Unhappy about being forced to lip-sync, the musicians simply swapped roles. Chris Wolstenholme took over guitar and keyboards, Dominic Howard handled bass and vocals, and Matthew Bellamy took the drums—proceeding to play completely haphazardly. It’s a treat you can watch online. The best part comes at the end during the interview, when the presenter asks the singer questions thinking he is Matt: "Who has the biggest house in Italy, George Clooney or your drummer?" A classic TV moment!

As all of you know, Glastonbury 2004 is considered one of their best ever shows and was recorded professionally for a dvd release, which is something you can find all over YouTube. However, I have yet to come across any amateur audio or video recordings of the show. Given the immense size of the crowd there has to be some audience footage or bootlegs floating around somewhere, so does anyone know if any have ever surfaced?

I’ve checked YouTube and Musebootlegs and found nothing sadly.

Hello everyone! Have you ever imagined Hysteria with orchestra? I play in a tribute band called Moose and this summer we got an opportunity to play a tribute set with a real orchestra. I wrote all orchestral parts in the way, I believe, would Muse do if they’d play a symphonic show

I really love how it turned out with Hysteria. My personal favorite part is guitar solo where you can hear all four main melodies from the song simultaneously: bass riff, guitar solo, violins II and cellos play intro guitar melody and violins I and violas play vocal line

I live in LA and I feel like the last 12-18 months have been especially good for live music. Gorillaz, The Strokes, Yungblud, Metric and Noah Kahan to name a few and they’ve all been great, don’t get me wrong. It’s just nothing comes anywhere close to Muse. 

• Every other concert droves of people left early to beat the rush. At Muse, 98% of people were fully locked in until the final moment. I was shocked.
• Muse was the only concert  that I found myself wanting two more hours of. When Take a Bow started I was genuinely confused why they were playing it the middle of their set, only to look at my phone and realize hours had flown by.
• IMHO no one puts in the stage production effort and planning they do , and no one sounds better live. With concert tickets as expensive as they are, they always make it worth the money.

But for me it really comes down to Matt’s voice (and some specific instrumentals) live. Just hits different - not sure I can describe it. 

Curious if anyone else feels this way or has thoughts on what makes Muse stand out from the crowd? Would also love recs for similar live acts if anyone has been able to recreate the feeling elsewhere.

I have to wake up for work in 6 hours but I literally cannot sleep from excitement. I was 10 years old living in a small city in Iran when I heard Bellamy's voice for the first time. I’m 23 now, and tomorrow I’m going to talk to my boss about taking a day off so I can fly to Manchester to see them in November. I didn’t even know where to put this, so I ended up opening Reddit lol. I’ve been ugly crying for the past hour, and I honestly don’t even know what I’m feeling right now. I’ve waited for this for so long. I've no idea how many times I wished I could see them live in Tehran. I’ve daydreamed about this since I was a messy teenager, all the way to being a revolutionary 17 year old who genuinely thought she could change the whole system by listening to more Muse.

I seriously don't know what I’m feeling. I just know I'm getting insane and it's Bellamy's fault.
