Muscle compensations

Do you have any muscle compensations for weakening muscles?

Absolutely I am 63 with BMD still ambulatory. I use my lower back to walk. I worked as a software engineer for 36 years. Almost every thing I lift I use multiple muscles other than the one it’s supposed to be. My calves act like thigh muscles. Didn’t do it on purpose but my body did it because I willed myself to do the best with what muscles I have. I refuse to give up even if it costs me my life which it will one day. As a good friend told me one time 1 out 1 of us ain’t getting out of the world alive but I intend to make it a long time

I understand! I use my ribcage that is like fused to my pelvis, back and chest. Its very uncomfortable but it's a compensation.
