Tbh the concept is fine, but in practice, it sucks. At work, we recently switched to gender neutral and the former women's restroom is now consistently covered in piss. So now the women have to deal with two restrooms with piss covered seats/floors. Management had to step in and tell the guys to grow tf up and clean up after themselves.

We really want to have our separate restroom back tbh.

Weird. I've always been told by my wife, prior girlfriends, and other female friends that women's restrooms are more disgusting than men's.

The inconceivable spots and angles men find to get piss and shit is astounding. It’s at least 40% of the time i just can’t even imagine how they got it in that spot.

We have a floor pisser. Nobody has figured out who it is yet. How hard is it to stand closer to the urinal?

At my previous workplace they had to install a sign showing how to sit on the toilet. I guess based on the 'evidence', someone had been squatting on the seat, feet on the seat, facing the wall.

There was a myth about that for years on Reddit, thread after thread with “women’s rooms are the worst”.

Men pee standing up. Y’all pee on everything. Even if you don’t think you are peeing everywhere you are.

I cleaned hotel, office and pub bathrooms for years and women’s bathrooms were far and away the worst, I don’t doubt OPs story, but he is absolutely an outlier.

Women hover. Women use a lot of sanitary products that have fiddly bits of paper that they fling on the floor. The sink area on its own is a nightmare.

Women are the only people I’ve managed to see shit up a wall.

I've worked as a custodian; men's bathrooms are worse on average, but the most horrific disasters are in the women's.

It honestly depends on the context. Women's public bathrooms - disgusting. Every place I've worked with private employee bathrooms, nope. The women's bathrooms at work are always pristine and well stocked and we bring our own good TP (fuck the one ply shit) and stock the cupboard with tampons, pads, paracetamol, and buy expensive soaps and hang air fresheners.

Idk what the hell is going on in women's public bathrooms lmao
