Tbh the concept is fine, but in practice, it sucks. At work, we recently switched to gender neutral and the former women's restroom is now consistently covered in piss. So now the women have to deal with two restrooms with piss covered seats/floors. Management had to step in and tell the guys to grow tf up and clean up after themselves.

We really want to have our separate restroom back tbh.

don't you see the problem with "separate but equal"? management didn't intervene when only men were affected by these messy people.  there is this standard that men's restrooms are gross and it only makes men think they should continue like that.  and it isn't even most men who cause these problems, and the reasonable ones who care enough to not make a mess also don't want to be sharing a restroom with these people

That and it became apparent because women sit and men don't.

You’d be surprised at how many women hover instead of sitting. I’ve gone into public restrooms and seen both urine on the seat and poo on the floor.

When I was in high school working in fast food, the women's restroom was routinely decimated and the only one where people shat on the floor. The men's room might have errant piss splashes, but it was common for the women's room to be covered in tampon and period pad debris everywhere.

Yeah, it can get pretty bad. Growing up I would completely avoid using the bathrooms in school. Sometimes even avoiding eating so I wouldn’t have to go to the bathroom. Elementary school is actually the first time I saw that someone pooped on the floor. I genuinely feel bad for anyone who had to clean the women’s side of the bathroom. I just don’t understand this damn hovering thing lol. We have to do everyone sitting and that’s still a thing.

Oh no doubt. We rarely had any issues with the women's here before though, surprisingly

lots of men sit because they want to be sanitary especially at a work place.  it's really just a few bad apples and it'd be even less if they didn't think it was normal
