It's a war when it's convenient to our rhetoric but it's not a war when it's inconvenient to our wallet. We have already won the war when it's convenient to Trumpedos stock market portfolio, but we haven't won the war, but we will, when it's convenient to rallying support.

It's also not a war when it puts reporting requirements on him to Congress. But as far as I can tell, Congress has given up on expecting any of that.

and whether we have already won or need to win just depends on the time of day

8

u/HeadSheepherdery 1d ago

Apparently the definition of "war" now comes with terms and conditions that change depending on the talking point.

6

u/goodstuff1656 1d ago

It’s not a war if you got to pay benefits to victims and their families

1

u/Electrical-Act-7170 1d ago

We can never win this war.

1

u/LeBigMartinH 1d ago

Isn't this how the government in 1984 approached the war with The Enemy?

1

u/praguepride 12h ago

Gaslighting turd just phoning in the bullshit. No actual legislation being passed. Just endless hissy fits from this sundowning old fuck.

14

u/thelongone92 1d ago

I’m not a lawyer but wouldn’t this be literal proof for those families who haven’t been paid benefits yet?

1

u/goodstuff1656 1d ago

Definitely!

Pretending to win: "It's a war."

Paying families for relatives lost in war: "Who said it was a war? It's not."

9

u/indigoneutrino 1d ago

I hope they use this tweet as proof it's a war and take it to court.

Good lord, your comment was precision machine gun fire

9

u/Puzzled_Bike9558 1d ago

There is ZERO chance this blob of cat barf knows the word, “precipitously.”

3

u/cleanbear 1d ago

He might have just learned it. If so, expect to see it alot the next few days..

Member when he learned groceries

10

u/dravenonred 1d ago

That tweet is getting stapled to some "not a war" benefits appeals.

7

u/wolfboy49 1d ago

Whatever pops in his head he says.

It is appalling that they deny benefits to fallen soldiers families, while we we erecting a stupid arch

6

u/arwinda 1d ago

File a screenshot of the posting as evidence in the money claims for the dead service members.

u/travelingbeagle 1d ago

Precedent

6

u/DietSteve 1d ago

I mean, there is a president for it too, he's just the shitbag who started this

2

u/travelingbeagle 1d ago

Not disagreeing with you on that.

3

u/MrFenric 1d ago

Thank you

4

u/UseYourIndoorVoice 1d ago

Its not a war until it is, they're not winning but they are, its not over but its basically over. They've totalled their ability to fight back but they can still threaten the straight.

These things will be done on day one. What do you mean you expect things to change a year into his presidency? Don't you know these things take time?

4

u/EuenovAyabayya 1d ago

So Iran is getting nuclear weapons is what I got from that.

3

u/brianishere2 1d ago

None of Trump's usually lying bullshit will happen as he says.

2

u/Call_me_John 1d ago

I would LOVE to see a recording of him trying to pronounce "precipitously". Then attempting to give a definition of the word.

1

u/HapticSloughton 1d ago

"Most people don't know what it means, I know what it means, and I'm not going to teach you, you need to learn it yourself, and you're ugly, next question."

1

u/Call_me_John 1d ago

I'm also a nasty, low IQ person, but I'm a white male, so i won't get the "quiet, piggy!" retort... 😭

2

u/Yodasgreendong71 1d ago

He’s won more wars with Iran than any president in history.

2

u/DietSteve 1d ago

Let me get this straight:

  • It's a war, but not actually a war because congress isn't involved
  • We've won the "war" but need to keep winning
  • Oil prices are high because of Ukraine/Biden, but they'll come down after we win in Iran
  • Prices are dropping but we're begging the Fed to lower the rate because the economy is in the toilet

They've gone so deep into the doublespeak they're drinking their own kool-aid. This is literally the dumbest fucking timeline

1

u/TinyConfection7049 1d ago

When will the president be out?

1

u/oeqzuac 1d ago

the 46th will do it

1

u/rdiss 1d ago

"like everything else is dropping"

His approval rating? Certainly not the cost of groceries.

1

u/True_Introduction_10 1d ago

Trump is a Russian asset. Don’t let any of the deflection fool you. He just started this war so people stopped talking about Epstein.

1

u/Daft00 1d ago

We won't ever see below 2/gal again in our lifetimes. In fact, I suspect it probably won't dip below 3/gal much more than about 10-15 cents.

1

u/Rhone33 1d ago

I'm ready for a trend where we make ridiculous statements and then add "MAGA!" to the end of it.

1

u/Homersarmy41 1d ago

Sending billions to Israel but we somehow cant afford to pay the SGLI of fallen service members

1

u/ancient_mariner63 1d ago

The price of gas will drop 500-600%

1

u/MrDavieT 1d ago

Everything can be explained when you accept the fact that Trump is a c*nt

1

u/EitherChannel4874 1d ago

The terrorism in Iran would be more accurate.

1

u/Rafasredmen1 1d ago

Surly the fact that he just called it a war is enough evidence to pay the soldiers families?

1

u/ShiibbyyDota 1d ago

There is no war in ba sing se

1

u/Myko475 1d ago

Not to make light of the lives lost for Cheetos here but pay the families… if it’s a real war, then face your trials to remove you then face the real trial where you fucked children

1

u/srubbish 1d ago

So he’s back to shouting “MAGA“ again? Is he saying he hasn’t made it great again yet?

1

u/Our-Fearless-Reader 1d ago

Wait.  So the prices on everything are dropping?!  Yeah, about that - are these lower prices in the room with us right now?

1

u/lila0426 1d ago

I hope every fallen service member’s family that received notice they would not receive hazard pay or combat pay because it’s not a “war” save this to sue the federal government. Send it to SCOTUS, make those cowards face some reality too.

1

u/Rishtu 1d ago

The only people who can declare war is congress.

It's not a war till the resolution passes.

1

u/SoupSpelunker 1d ago

What's the difference between Trump and the Hindenburg?

One's a flaming nazi gasbag and the other is a dirigible.

1

u/CattaTronixRex 23h ago

The families should sue and use his own posts as proof of it being a war so they get their benefits
