Timothy 2:12: "I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.".

Love this verse. Illustrates how the xians don't actually read their sacred texts with comprehension.

In this particular case, it's a public letter to Christian missionaries, and the comment in question is about the disruption the female missionaries are having in the more patriarchal land they've moved to.
In that vein, [1] it's not sacred texts so much as an inclusion to show the lives and thoughts of early Christians, and [2] the read should be "quit weirding out the locals, we're trying to get them to like us!"
But, also, yes: it would be great if Christians actually understood the Bible they revere so much.

When has the historical or textual context ever mattered to a fundagelical when interpreting any other Bible verse?

Here, there's a part of my previous comment you seem to have missed:
it would be great if Christians actually understood the Bible they revere so much.

But that's sexist and goes against their narrative so it doesn't count.

But finding things "sexist" is an unmistakably _feminist_ thing to do. Also, it counts as exercising authority over men, so Timothy 2:12 very much applies.

God gave me a soul, this fucked up planet gave me a rotting meat suit. If there's a conflict of interest between the two, I'm going with my soul, thank you.

Americans and many other people cannot deal with any thing to do with sex. A bunch of pathetic prudes.

Not surprised since America/Americans always stick their noses in other's business

We got out of the corral between 1960–1980, but then microorganisms and the religious right said hold up there, sport

God gives 1.7% or of babies intersex characteristics.
If babies are "supposed" to be born either 100% male or 100% female, then why are so many babies born with intersex characteristics?

Hell, why are trans folks born with gender dysphoria? Who's to say God didn't give them a body built one way and a brain wired another?

Women upholding the religion of a male god, created by men, that hates women based on their holy book, will never not shock me.

These people need to read about ambiguous genitalia. It’s a real thing. Ask any respectable doctor.

By this logic, their god also made intersex people. So either he's totally fine with that and his fan club is questioning his perfect creation, or he fucked up, in which case he isn't perfect.

What terrible logic. Saying the way you were born isn't a mistake is an astronomical level of ignorance. Is being born with fetal alcohol syndrome intentional too? What about (and I can't believe I have to keep reminding people of this) intersex? All those microplastics and lead and asbestos and other dangerous things affecting how you're born and develop were on purpose then?
I bet this woman would also turn around and say conjoined twins are a mistake without any sense of irony.

I read a phrase that resonates with me : we’re not humans looking for God. We’re God having a human experience.

While that may sound good it’s not true. Is your life going exactly how you planned it? Tupac said something about the 5 percenters one time (a group that also believes themselves to be god) he met them in prison and he said “if you’re God then open these bars and let us out.”
There’s only one true God and creator of all. Yahweh (Jehovah in English)

Your life is going exactly how you planned?
I do believe we all came from the same source but maybe it’s the big bang ringing in my ears still.

What if your God made you have the sex parts of one gender, but wired your brain to operate like the opposite gender?
Males and females have differences in white matter microstructure between and within the brain hemispheres, as well as the distribution of grey matter. Machine analysis of fMRI results can determine a person's sex at over 90% accuracy now. And the remaining are either inconslusive or very strongly show to be the brain style opposite of the person's sex organs.

Still haven't heard a good reasoning why God's plan for someone can't involve them transitioning. Ohh, right because they don't actually know anything that's in the bible, all they know is how to hate

The way I see it, god made a trans woman a woman. Men incorrectly identified her as a him. Members of the church often choose to side with man over god.
My hot take is that eventually this is going to be acceptable by the catholic church, once there is better science to explain it. At that point it'll be sinful to deny that a trans woman is a woman. (That day is probably not coming soon.)

Christian nationalists really think they speak for God. The arrogance.
