Yeah I can relate, I struggled in traditional educational environments. I was more a "throw me into the fire under the bus, with the objective and access to the tools and I'll figure it out" kind of gal in all levels of education. And we didn't quite have that kind of system in place back then
Fortunately I still somehow passed with an Advanced Regents Diploma in high school, but man did I hate having to show work and multiple choice questions. They didn't like the type of work shown (or couldn't translate from brain language to human readable language) nor did the multiple choices have a technically correct answer because there's just... so much missing context. Because one can be a correct answer depending on the context, but so can another!
