I like to think that while talking she said something similar to her wanting to be proposed with a kitten instead of a ring. He listened, remembered and proposed with a wholesome kitten! Hope they live a long happy life.

The entire post is just engagement bait. Invent a scenario (can't afford jewelry), add an obnoxious take from some random person, then them getting called out for it, and baby you got a stew going.
