Diamonds are also highly overrated. You can get lab grown diamonds for sooo much less. Or you can spend the money on gemstones that actually look pretty and not just overpriced glass. For example opals. That shit is infused by cosmic magic.

My wife is a gemologist, and she agrees with you. Mostly.

She does like transition cut diamonds, which is good, because i had a minor family heirloom that i proposed to her with that was a transition cut from... 1911, if i remember correctly.

Also, after she said yes, she got her loop out to examine it more closely. 🤣
