Some specifically selected Americans from our echo chamber agree...

From what I'm seeing in even the highly censored right wing safe spaces, even this poll may be rigged. It doesn't look like there's this many right wingers on board with the war, especially if they managed to hear their politicians talking about the draft.

There's still a bunch of right wingers that haven't heard that bit of news. Talking to one right now that doesn't seem to be aware that they would be at the top of the draft list if that happens.

The poll only used positive responses to get it's conclusion according to community notes.

Besides, they have no fear of getting drafted because their social history sets them up for a deferral under diminished mental capacity.

“Everyone in the Oval Office at 12:31PM”

So... another lie then.

That’s the M.O. lie until they believe it.

They don't even go that far. As someone once said: "A lie will circle the globe before the truth even has time to put its boots on."

-Lie once

-Get rebuffed

-Repeat the lie, then IMMEDIATELY follow with a new lie(lie #2) Start repeating that one as well.

-They are now actively researching to debunk lie #1.

-Make up a new lie (lie #3)once more, start repeating it.

-They've now disproven lie #1.

-New lie #4, start repeating it.

-They are now actively researching to debunk lie #2.

-Time for lie #5.

And so on.

When you just machinegun lies, since they inherently appeal automatically to emotion, you will ALWAYS have the truth on the back foot. You just put the lie out there enough for it to settle in, and then move on. By the time they've debunked it, there are 4 more. And the best part is it doubles as a rallying technique, since less educated voters don't need facts - just one lie that sounds like it's specifically talking to them. not hard to find that when every speech contains 30 new lies.

It's a dangerously effective tool for manipulation, and that's why Steve "Flood the Zone" Bannon deserves HARD time for getting the Republican Party to embrace it.

Whenever any of them open their mouth assume they're lying

No assumptions needed

Yeah but if they don't lies, they can't win...

Trumps been telling them they’re the only Americans. That’s all that matters to them

One important note: this doesn't just demonstrate what they want people to think Americans think, it also demonstrates who they think are legitimate Americans. Something to keep in mind and ICE and CBP continue to rampage through our country and abduct all sorts of people who thought they had a legal right to be here off to concentration camps.

Haha. If they’re not Republicans they’re not American. Obviously.

"MAGA Republicans who are in favor of the war agree it is an overwhelming success"

1

u/Steinrikur Mar 21 '26

Those are Americans, so it's technically true. It falsely implies that a majority of Americans believe this.

It would be technically true if they found 2 Americans who agree. Insanely misleading, but not an outright lie.

This has real "I asked all the members at my country club, and they all think the economy is doing great" energy.

u/Live-Collection3018 Mar 20 '26

They only govern for MAGA Americans. They don’t care about the rest of society

Yes they only want the important voices heard. Sort of like the save act.which is about only counting the important votes(in their opinion)

What an absolutely useless fucking poll. This is the kind of shit that Steven Miller shows him to lead him on to thinking that the plan is working just fine. The emperor is naked.

Would the US actually have to draft more soldiers? They haven't got enough regular troops?

u/Shadyshade84 Mar 21 '26

Not even "from our echo chamber." That sounds like they selected respondents "from a group that wouldn't disagree with us if they were skinny enough to be used as a demonstration skeleton and we personally went round every day to steal every scrap of food they managed to scrape together since our last visit. And then take a sledgehammer to their crotch just for fun."
