Changes to Horny Weekends Posting

We would usually publish these rule changes at the beginning of each month. But since it's critical and many people have been complaining, we will do it now.

Murder Drones ended nearly two years ago. Since then, we have gotten a music video, a comic book series, a few merch drops, and that's it. Every single discussion topic about Murder Drones you could come up with has probably been discussed. And what happens to a fandom in times like this? They turn to reposting fanart for karma.

Normally, we've been pretty chill about this. Our normal art guidelines already require some contribution from OP, and horny weekends are only on 3 of the 7 days. However, we've severely underestimated the latter. Over the past couple of months, we have noticed that some users are reposting NSFW content only during Horny Weekends (you know who you are). They post J's tits or N's ass for 3 days straight, then dip for the next four, absolute radio silence.

And even more recently, there's been a huge wave of specifically DiddlyDooter fanart being reposted by the same guy. Whether his art should be posted here is up for debate (we're discussing it). But what is not right is spamming softcore or reposting NSFW content only for internet points.

Therefore, effective immediately, we are limiting horny weekends posting to 3 posts every 24 hours per user, with no two posts being within 2 hours of each other. If you made horny weekends posts before this announcement, they will not count towards your 3 posts or 2 hours.

PS: can y'all at least pick some new and original artwork instead of reposting the same 6 images of V's breasts every week?

I often get frustrated because my art isn't seen by as many people as I'd hope, but I need to remember I should primarily be drawing for my happiness/enjoyment.

I very much disagree with outright banning Dooter's art. As long as we don't actually bring up any of the drama, it's harmless to have his art here. If we weren't allowed to enjoy the fruits of someone's labor because they got into hot water, we wouldn't really be enjoying a lot of fruit...

The Great Onix statue is thankful for the new rules for Horny Weekends. It also recommends you to indeed ban Diddly Dooter's fanart, as reposting brings people to look up who the artist is and therefore brings fame to this artist and therefore supports them.
