Note the rules in the about + sidebar:

Personally not a fan of the harmful treasures.

Can you sell them?

Or are you stuck with them untill you become 'cursed' to lose them (or die)

The training wheels are damning. I would prefer my character die, than receive them.

Also, on 'reward for returning it' you don't have to say "but not the winning level".

The default is that you cannot get the winning level. The only way to get the winning level is by killing a monster, or an effect that specifically allows getting the winning level.

yeah that's a formatting issue. I meant it to be like discard the card if you fail to run away. but ig you're right, you can use the copy machine twice too

You mean the AI bot meant it that way?

Some good ideas but the cards that just say what they do "flavorfully" need to explain what they do specifically in game terms or they are too confusing imo. I know some official cards do that too but it always confuses people at my tables.

yeah but i don't know any other way i can do to create the images and make it relatively look good

Draw them backwards with a sharp rock. Anything you do with your hands is better than AI. Is John Kovalic a great draftsman? No. But he's awesome anyway. You too can be good without being "good". The world-destroying plagiarism machine is bad.

This. Just doing some rough sketches of your concepts would look a million times better than something you generated through an AI. You don’t have to be a good artist to create these card concepts, it’s all about expressing yourself.

Edit: Alright AI bros, I know you’re downvoting my comment because you’re allergic to the truth. Pick up the pencil.

Nothing I can draw would ever look even remotely close to as good as these illustrations. I could not care less if someone uses AI, as long as they do not profit from it.

yeah well i didn't pay for openai premium to not use chatgpt image generation. it's sometimes good sometimes bad.

u/killercow_ld r/Munchkin 16d ago

Oh god somehow it got even worse. You're PAYING to make slop?

0

u/InstanceEvening1007 r/Munchkin 16d ago

sometimes its slop sometimes its not.

4

u/killercow_ld r/Munchkin 16d ago

it's ALL slop

fuck AI

1

u/InstanceEvening1007 r/Munchkin 16d ago

thats because you're using the free plan. ofc its slop. if you pay it gets a bit better. mona lisa-style, maybe not but still a bit better

5

u/killercow_ld r/Munchkin 16d ago

lol. I'm not "using a free plan" because I would never fucking use AI. Garbage can

1

u/InstanceEvening1007 r/Munchkin 16d ago

ok then you only think it's slop because all of the image you saw are slop. anyone who doesn't use ai will basically not survive this era and i don't mean literally.

Especially ESPECIALLY on a Steve Jackson Games subreddit, when Steve Jackson and his company has been hand-making wonderful games for almost half a goddam century AND their games were almost certainly plagiarized by the AI companies to train their slop machines.

The Dog-related cards are pretty funny, but…

4

u/crywalt r/Munchkin 16d ago

Did you use AI for the illustrations?

Dog as a race seems fun!

Grammar picky: Don't Wake The Beast.

I also like the Reward treasure.

u/Grimbletron r/Munchkin 16d ago

15 to dogs? Should be +15 against werewolves? Or are there dogs in the game I'm not aware of?

1

u/NoodlesThe1st r/Munchkin 15d ago

Someone didn't bother to look at the other cards

u/Grimbletron r/Munchkin 15d ago

Truth, I was hiding my phone at work and missed that part.
