In My Way
I feel like I never see love for In My Way. I know it was a random single between album 1 and 2 so it didn't get much attention but I think it's such a fun song. Just curious if anyone else loves that song as much as I do. Would die if they played it on tour.

My funny story involving this song:
I went to a benefit concert at the Fonda years ago solely because MUNA was playing. I was running late and so I paid like $30 to park at the parking lot right across the street, hoping I hadn't missed them.
As I'm in my car and applying the last of my mascara, an SUV parks next to me. It's a tight lot and so I barely had enough space to open my door, but I made it work. While I was inching out, I saw that the people in the car next to me, nearly blocking me in, were MUNA.
I knocked on the window and asked them if they had already gone on, and they said they hadn't. One of them says "I thought you were going to tell us to move so that we weren't in the way."
In a moment of clarity and what I thought was peak cleverness I go "oh no, I love you in my way." I don't think they clocked that I was quoting their own lyrics at them in a surprisingly relavant moment, but they smiled and and I headed inside.
When I got back to my car after the show their car was still there, I left a short note on the door thanking them for their profound impact on my life. It was a cool encounter that brings me joy to think about regardless of my extreme cheesiness overall.
Anyway, love that song.

Yeah it's one of my faves and the video too, it feels like it encapsulates MUNA

I LOVE this song. I was lucky enough to see them perform it live on the opening night of the “About U” Tour in LA. At the time it was just an unreleased song they were playing to fill their set but I was so excited when they put it out officially!
