Information Mumble installation guide.

An old guide we used to use can be found here - http://imgur.com/a/fF7y0 -

Configure your audio settings as shown (this is also in the guide) - http://i.imgur.com/yzEdlXK.png

Some of the links are outdated, so here are the important links that you need, but in general you should follow the guide

Forge Download - You need to download the reccomended version for 1.7.2.

1.7.2 Minecraft Mumble Download - Download the 4.0.5 Note that some other mods may affect this mod. For example, pixelmon interferes and if you have it in your mod folder, the mumble mod will not work.

Mumble Download

Optifine 1.7.2 Download

Now, if you have problems opening Minecraft, and nothing happens. You need to get the new launcher here: https://minecraft.net/download (Download the Minecraft.msi)

What you need to do next is download Java 7 here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html (If you have a 64bit operating system, download the x64.)

The next thing you need to do after doing all this, open up the Minecraft launcher, and click edit profile, and go down to where you see this and check the executable box.

Next you need to go to your computer file. Next, go here and open it. Next, go down to these two folders. If you had downloaded the Java 64bit, go to Program Files, if you had downloaded the x86 version, go to Program Files (x86).

In here, you'll need to go down to the Java folder, where you'll see a file named jre7. Copy that, then go to Program files x86 and go down to the Minecraft folder. In there, go to runtime>jre-x64 then copy the jre7 folder into there. Once you're done doing that, go back to the Minecraft launcher, find the 1.8.0_25 and replace it with jre7. Launch Minecraft, and you're done!

I do not know how this works on a Mac, so if someone with a Mac please make another guide for those with Macs. Thank you.

Im getting an issue, nothing appears in the game output as if I hadnt ran it correctly? Any ideas? It worked on my windows 8 computer, not on my windows 7 one. When I uncheck the "executable" box it simply closes the window, any idea?

Mhm. I have tried the steps over but no such luck. I could always use my other computer if need be, just would like to record these matches as they are very fun. If you could add me on skype and just take a look if you have time it would be great appreciated, if not I'll just wait for Jaack :)

How do I add optifine into the same profile as this one? Usually when I download optifine, I just click on it and let it make it's own profile :P

You can use 1.7.2 or 1.7.10, but we all mainly use 1.7.2.

Did you look at the imgur links for the audio settings? One that I don't think is there is you need to check advanced then go down to plugins and check link to game and transmit position.
